Every year, I start a picture in one year and then I finish it on the first day of the next so that it spans both of them. Typically I started that picture on the last day of the previous year, but this time my muse was not talking. So I finished up a piece I've been working on for months.
This was the most symbolic representation of my little alien hybrid, Ezra, that I could come up with. Born of the circle, of both the tikedi and the tekk, and forever outside of it. He's the only one of his kind, created artificially to serve a purpose but blessed/cursed with a will of his own. To some he's a creator (with his right hand he builds the circle) and to others he's a destroyer (with his left he pulls it apart). To any and all after the fact, he was the definite end of a prophecy that had been spoken thousands of years before, and to a few he was on par with the traveller goddess Teyka (who was admittedly pretty false in her own right). In short: Ezra in a glowy circle with nifty brass fittings on and what I'm guessing are LEDs behind his eyes. Happy New Year, everyone! Ezra © Meghan Taylor (*talon333) |

The Internet was created by Satan to accomplish the whims of man.
God just uses it too much to destroy it.
