Practicing fur, part one. I didn't use any references for this one but I will in the future because, while my imagination is good, I need some help sorting out how fur breaks and grows and things. Will do. This is as good as this one gets, though.

His muzzle is majorly crooked. I noticed so far into the piece that I've decided not to care. Otherwise I love this one.

Potential scene from book three. I envision a future companion piece to this one featuring Myrnak, since I know that's who Ezra's got to be talking to.

Ooh, I really like the character design. Especially the ears and head fins. Very pretty fur too. Nicely done!

I really like this one, especially the hints of realism in the face. My one suggestion on fur is to use a mechanical pencil, and to periodically add extra hairs where it spits apart. Sorry if that doesn't help, I tend to ramble. ^^;

I like it! The pseudo-realism together with that thick outline gives it a very interesting feel.
And the title, in combination with what he's holding made me think the apology went something like: "I'm so sorry about what happened, but look, I made his skull into a nice hat for you!" :D

fantastic piece! I especially love how his fur plays on his arm there. And the skull is such a nice touch! :)

I think the muzzle looks fine.
he looks a little stressed out, and from the face I at first thought he was a girl. x.x;; I like the transparency on the fin, I've been practicing that a lot. :x
